These natural climate heroes are wetlands, land with lots of water, such as peatlands, and the beautiful mangrove forests found in tropical areas.
✔ Wetlands store enormous amounts of CO2,
✔ have unprecedented biodiversity and

So wetlands are incredibly important, but 70% have disappeared in the last century.
